Verve Cycling is an Australia-born small-scale, global company, operating across all the world’s time zones. We have brought together a strong team of motivated leaders to take Verve and the InfoCrank power meter to the next level.
Bryan Taylor, President
Verve’s President is Bryan Taylor, who in his earlier career was one of Australia’s weightiest players in the global finance sector. He founded and headed Plan B Wealth Management, an ASX-listed company. He brings his skills as a team builder and astute manager with a global vision to the new enterprise, which reprises the love of cycling that saw him as a novice trackie in Sydney in the 1970s. Forty years later, he is also still a formidable competitor on the bike.
Rae Fallon, Marketing Director
Rae has been with the Verve from the very beginning, starting out in a very general business development and marketing role. She directed the creation of the website, packaging, and instructional films, and looks forward to taking Verve to the next level with marketing opportunities surrounding British Cycling and ONE Pro Cycling’s involvement with the company and product.
Aaron Hoekstra, Customer Service Coordinator
Aaron runs Verve’s Customer Support division out of his hometown in Illinois, USA, with customer support reps around the world. Before Verve, Aaron worked in Sales in the running industry, and directed a not-for-profit, Venture Corps, which serves to support local organisations in East Africa. Along with his interpersonal skills, Aaron brings structure and organization to Verve, and is one of the main reasons our customers have such raving reviews, even if something has gone awry.
Magnus Backstedt, Pro Team Liaison
Magnus’s outstanding palmarès is crowned by his victory in the 2004 edition of Paris–Roubaix, one of the ‘Five Monuments’ of cycle racing. During his racing career, Magnus became known for his astute and tireless research and development work on racing equipment, something that played a major part in his achievement on the bike. After retiring from top-level cycling, he become a TV race commentator, ran his own racing team for several years, and now competes as a world-class Ironman triathlete. He puts his expertise in judging and selecting equipment to work and as an early adopter became a Director of Verve Cycling UK.
