UNITED KINGDOM. The Great Britain Cycling Team has achieved unprecedented success, becoming a global powerhouse in the sport. Their medal haul across the last 10 years stands at 306, spanning Olympic, Paralympic, and World Championship competitions. They have established the team as an international byword for excellence and inspired millions of people across Britain to ride their bikes more often.
THE KENYAN RIDERS
KENYA. Kenyan Riders is providing Kenyans athletes an opportunity to break into the world of professional cycling, a sport that until now is exclusively European and Western. Unlike other cycling projects in Africa, Kenyan Riders are using local talents and local resources in every aspect of the project. They are using the local bicycle as the primary tool and are working with local companies and NGO to build a bike made by Kenyan, and affordable for Kenyans.
Satalyst Verve Racing Team
AUSTRALIA. The Satalyst Verve Racing Team (formerly known as Navitas Satalyst Racing, Satalyst Giant Racing and Plan B Racing) contests UCI events throughout Asia, Australia and New Zealand as well as the Australian National Road Series. Navitas Satalyst Racing is focused on developing Australian, particularly young West Australian, bike riders to the national and international level.
Colin Lynch, Paralympic Cyclist
IRELAND. In 2011, Colin had his first win in time-trial at the UCI World Paracgcling Championships. He represented Ireland in the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, finishing 4th in the track pursuit and 5th in the Road TT.
Alise Selsmark, Pro Triathlete
AUSTRALIA. Alice received her professional license in 2015, and went into her first place in great form, placing 5th at Ironman Mandurah 70.3. She is looking forward to a great 2016 season.
ONE Pro Cycling
UNITED KINGDOM. ONE Pro Cycling is a completely new UK based professional cycling team, with the ambition and drive to progress in the future to the biggest races in the cycling world such as the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, and the Vuelta a España. ONE Pro Cycling currently race at the Pro-Continental level.
AUSTRALIA. Jo Hogan, founder of The Healthy Cyclist blog, rode with InfoCrank at Team TIBCO. When she moved back to Australia and set her sights on Ironman, the knew who to call for accurate and reliable power measurement. We’re excited to support Jo through this next phase of her life as she moves from being a Professional Cyclist into becoming a Professional Triathlete.
AUSTRIA. In 1999 Thomas Kofler founded Team ÖAMTC Volksbank-Colnago. They achieved promising results in the elite and U23 categories in their first years. In 2004, three out of four possible national championship titles in Austria go to Team Vorarlberg. Finding success in Austrian races primarily, the team has steadily worked towards becoming a Professional Continental Team.
Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank
NORTH AMERICA. Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank is the the longest running women’s professional team in North America, and are currently ranked as the 11th team in the World! They were 2014 USA Cycling NRC Overall Best Team and winner of the Top Individual NRC Title and the Women’s Prestige Cycling Series Title. This past season, TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank had riders in the World Championships and nominated riders for the 2016 Olympics.
JML Racing Team
AUSTRALIA. JML Racing is about much more than competitive cycling. They combine domestic and international racing with advocacy, rider development and a commitment to encourage people of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds to ride with the ultimate goal of creating a better environment for cycling.
Dame Sarah Storey
UNITED KINGDOM. Dame Sarah Storey is the most medaled British Athlete in cycling and swimming. Three time British National Track Champion, and 20 time World Champion in swimming and cycling. Dame Sarah Storey holds 72 World Records.
UNITED KINGDOM. Katie recently won the British National Paracycling Time Trial and Road Circuit Championships in the C3 Category. She’s a determined Paralympic and World Champion hopeful from Chinley, UK.
Ritchie Nicholls, Pro Triathlete
Ben Kanute, Pro Triathlete
NORTH AMERICA. Ben went to the University of Arizona and raced for the club triathlon team, while also competing for the USA around the world in various Continental Cups, World Cups, and WTS races. He won the Collegiate National Championship in both the Draft legal Sprint and Non Draft Olympic Distance races. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2014 in three years, and is currently training full time as a professional triathlete.
